I have been growing organic fruit and vegetables for over 15 years including working on farms in Spain, three vegetable box
schemes and managing an English organic vineyard.
I was vegetable production manager at Abbey Farm Organics for
over six years. Abbey Farm Organics produced and delivered boxes of vegetables within West Norfolk and had a regular
stall on the Kings Lynn Friday Market.
I set up The Garden Farmer with the aim of helping people in West Norfolk to grow their own. I also contribute my skills in
an unpaid voluntary capacity to Transition Kings Lynn, and have trained to be a voluntary Master Composter for the Norfolk
County Council.
Previous jobs include Youth
Hostel warden, trolley packer for M&S, Civil Servant and full time conservation volunteer with the BTCV. I have been
a campaigner for Cardiff Bay Anti Barrage and Twyford Down Stop the Bypass. I have a Bsc Hons in Energy and Environmental
Technology.
